With last night’s first round of the NFL Draft (seriously NFL, this shouldn’t take 3 days), one of the most exciting players in recent memory was drafted by the Washington Redskins. What’s this have to do with FreedomIQ hosted VoIP phone systems? Everything.
If we had to compare FreedomIQ to recently-drafted first round quarterbacks, we’d like to think we resemble Robert Griffin III (RGIII). Thanks to the new NFL rookie wage scale, the Heisman Trophy winner will cost the Redskins much less than what it would have cost to draft a top QB only two years ago. RGIII appears to have all the tools of a traditional pocket passer (strong and accurate arm, good size, great pocket presence) but he can do so much more.
In 2008, he was a Track and Field All-American. He ran a 4.38 40 at the NFL Combine. The man can flat out fly. That sort of speed will give his offensive coordinator’s playbook new options and new looks. FreedomIQ’s hosted service lets your business operate with different looks, too. Since we host your service in the cloud, your employees can connect from anywhere with an Internet connection. Let employees work from home and use your same phone number and extension while away on a business trip. Your phone system doesn’t have to be tethered to your office building like it did back when the AFL still existed.
Don’t forget RGIII is smart, too. Voted a 2nd Team Academic All-American, RGIII can bring it in the classroom just like we can. FreedomIQ offers reports and tools to empower you with real-time access to what’s happening on your phone system. You can use in-depth call reports to quantitatively determine your best performing staff members. You can go all Superdome (“allegedly”) and listen in on employees’ calls to help them improve their customer service skills. Or use our employee scheduler to look at your call volume and see how many employees you will need at any given time to ensure no call to your business goes unanswered. FreedomIQ didn’t leave school early for the draft; we have our degree in hand.
If FreedomIQ is compared to RGIII, we’d have to compare premise-based phone systems to JaMarcus Russell. The big man cost the Oakland Raiders A LOT of money (and wins), lacked the work ethic that a professional organization expected, and ended up being a total disaster. When the pocket collapsed, Russell didn’t know what to do and got sacked 70 times in 31 games. In the heat of the moment a premise-based solution can get sacked, too. If a disaster strikes your office, it can take down your whole phone system for good. But with FreedomIQ, if your office gets hit, it wouldn’t be as bad. You’d be able to dust yourself off and plug your phone into an Internet connection at a different location and put your business back together.
We’re not saying premise-based phone systems are going to be pulled over in the middle of the night with codeine syrup on their breath … but we’re also not not saying that.
What player would you compare your business to?
