FreedomIQ is RGIII, Premise-Based is JaMarcus Russell
With last night’s first round of the NFL Draft (seriously NFL, this shouldn’t take 3 days), one of the most exciting players in recent memory was drafted by the Washington Redskins. What’s this have to do with FreedomIQ hosted VoIP phone systems? Everything.
If we had to compare FreedomIQ to recently-drafted first round quarterbacks, we’d like to think we resemble Robert Griffin III (RGIII). Thanks to the new NFL rookie wage scale, the Heisman Trophy winner will cost the Redskins much less than what it would have cost to draft a top QB only two years ago. RGIII appears to have all the tools of a traditional pocket passer (strong and accurate arm, good size, great pocket presence) but he can do so much more.

New Feature Debut: Customizable CNAM
Heads up, chums:
We’re rolling out a new feature!
Our customizable CNAM (Caller NAMe) feature looks up your caller’s name using a massive, constantly-updated database of name & number pairings and displays it on your VoIP phone right alongside the caller ID phone number.
That is – if that’s where you want it. You’re free to specify which area on your phone’s display you’d like to use to show this information.
Hosted VoIP Lite: Getting Your Feet Wet
Making the move to a new business phone system can be downright scary. The communications technology that a company chooses has become so critical to business efficiency, that one IT misstep can easily set you back weeks in terms of productivity.
This is just one of the many reasons we’ve seen businesses turn to a hosted VoIP phone system. With hosted VoIP, there’s no big upfront commitment. No massive equipment or servers to finance, no infrastructure changes, no heavy wiring. You are free to try out the system with as small of an initial deployment as you’re comfortable taking on – even just a single phone – before deciding if it’s right for your business.
Introducing the ACH Direct Payment Option
FreedomIQ hosted VoIP phone systems are about making things easy for our customers, but we don’t just stop at reliable technology. We’ve recently deployed no-hassle bill pay by way of ACH Direct Payment. Simply provide your banking information and your payments will be made automatically every month.
What’s in it for you? ACH helps us provide the best price for hosted VoIP by reducing credit card transaction costs and making it easier to manage accounts receivable. Beyond that, there are a number of benefits to making automated payments. Here are just a few…
Reports of Our Death Were Greatly Exaggerated
The title is a paraphrase of Mark Twain, in response to rumors of his demise. Now we know how he felt.
Over the past few days, FreedomVoice has been getting quite a few rather shocking phone calls and emails, inquiring about our financial condition. Turns out, another unrelated telecom company named Freedom Communications USA declared bankruptcy in Tennessee last week. Due to the likeness of our names, a lot of people thought we were the ones filing for Chapter 11. Negative.
Before I go on, let me make it clear: we’re not the “Freedom” telecom company going bankrupt. And we’ve been through this before. We appreciate your concern, but we want you to know we’re doing better than ever.
Hosted VoIP Phone Systems: The 3rd Bowl of Porridge
If you’ve heard the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, you’re no doubt familiar with the Goldilocks Principle, the notion that something has to lie within a certain range to be ideal. Too far one direction, and your porridge is too hot/cold, your chair too stiff/fluffy, your bed too hard/soft.
This principle creeps up a lot when it comes to making important purchasing decisions for your business. It’s not just a matter of meeting your most basic needs, but truly satisfying those needs with the optimal solution that fits your budget. This is especially the case in the world of business telephony, where the available solutions run the gamut from “free” to absolutely budget-breaking. Making the right choice involves finding that happy medium for your business. And here’s why, for SMBs, that solution is a hosted VoIP phone system…
Why Hosted VoIP is the Best Solution for Growing Businesses
If you’re a rapidly-expanding small business in today’s technology-heavy world, you’ve no doubt been faced with countless growing pains as your existing IT solutions are stretched beyond their abilities. With new versions of software released constantly and hardware becoming obsolete after even just a few months, it would seem like nothing is built to scale with your business. Or, even more unlikely, get better after you buy it.
This is where a managed service like hosted VoIP shines: scalability and constantly-updated service. Unlike the PBX of the past, a hosted VoIP phone system isn’t as much an investment in a fixed hardware solution as it is an ongoing partnership with a reliable service provider that will keep you on the cutting edge. Here are just a few of the ways this relationship helps your growing business…
