What is Better Business VoIP or Avatar?

So I saw Avatar last night. I must say that is was an awesome movie. But I couldn’t help but think to myself, “What if an Avatar character was in a vicious fight with business VoIP, who would win?” Here is what I came up with…

Call Quality

Now avatars have that little thing in their hair which allows them to communicate with all living things. The connection seems very secure and reliable, which is good.

VoIP on the other hand uses the Internet for its connection. The Internet is also secure and reliable but people looking to use business VoIP should first take a VoIP speed test to be sure that their connection supports VoIP.

Avatars do not have to take a connection test for their hair connection. So the first round goes to them.

+1 Avatars

Appearance

VoIP phones look very sleek. They have a modern look and feel and people really appreciate that. In addition, they have VoIP features like that let customers know you mean business.

Avatars are blue and unkempt. They hardly shower, have large feet and are overall unsightly. Furthermore, they hardly ever dress up for special occasions.

Business VoIP has a better appearance than an Avatar.

Post Avatar Depression

You may have heard of post Avatar depression. It is the idea that after people see Avatar, they become depressed, because they think the Avatar world is way better than Earth.

There is no such thing as post business VoIP depression. Because once you switch to it, you never go back to a non-VoIP system. So you don’t have to worry about it!

This one goes to business VoIP simply because it doesn’t make people depressed.

Features

Avatars don’t have many features, but the ones they do have are very cool. They have a bow and arrow (the arrow is covered in a deadly poison), some type of headband that they wear around their nose, and with a little extra effort, they can get a horse-like alien or a Pterodactyl-like animal to fly around on.

A hosted VoIP PBX has a ton of features, all of which are state of the art. Business VoIP comes with auto attendant, advanced ACD and call queue, unified voice and fax messaging, outlook integration, and visual call reports. You can even record calls and get voicemails transcribed.

This one is a tough choice, but I’m going to give it to hosted VoIP PBX. Just for the fact that Avatars aren’t real. OK let’s take a look at one more.

Cost Savings

With unlimited local and long distance calls, business VoIP allows companies to save a ton of money on their phone bill. Hosted VoIP systems allow for even more opportunity. They allow for workers to perform duties remotely. This can save money on office space, utilities, and transportation costs. There are also no maintenance costs and users do not have to purchase an expensive dedicated IP-PBX.

Avatars don’t spend any money at all! But, they also don’t make any money. When you think about it they are actually pretty lazy. They just play all day and do a little hunting. In fact, I don’t even think they have invented money yet as they still use the barter system. Which is OK, they can live however they want on Pandora, I don’t care.

Due to the fact that Avatars have not invented money, this one goes to business VoIP.

The moral of this blog is that business VoIP is 4 times better than Avatars for the reasons mentioned above. Next time you think of Avatar keep these points in mind. And next time you’re looking for a hosted VoIP PBX, remember that FreedomIQ is an intelligent, tangible choice.
