How Name & Address Capture Works
When a caller dials a phone number on your FreedomIQ system, your built-in caller ID attempts to capture the caller’s phone number. If they dialed a toll free number on your system, the likelihood of capturing that phone number is very nearly 100%.
Once we have a caller’s phone number, the Name & Address Capture feature uses that piece of information to try to look up the caller’s full name and address against a massive, constantly-updating database. While we can’t guarantee a capture on every call, we do experience a roughly 70% success rate.
Create Informed Follow-Ups
Once you’ve learned who is calling, you’re better equipped to follow-up on missed calls. You can add a personal touch to any future communication with something as simple calling the customer by their first name when you promptly return their call and chatting about what’s going on in their area.
You can also use captured names and addresses to fuel traditional mail campaigns, like collecting names and addresses for missed calls to your Sales extension to send out a postcard campaign with your latest special offer. Or you can collect names and addresses for missed calls to your Customer Service extension to send out surveys, comment cards, invitations, discount coupons, or even a greeting card around the holidays.
